MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Hello everyone,

When I contacted my friend Alain Deroudilhe, president of the Rugby Club Palavas Lunel, to ask him to help me create and install a brand new Footy Club (Australian Football) in Palavas, his welcome was warm.

Today it's done and I am both very happy and honored to officially announce the birth and start of the "Gabians de Palavas-les-Flots" Club.

With my warm thanks to Mr. Jeanjean, Mayor of Palavas les Flots and to Mr. Lopez, Sports Assistant, who made the stadium and changing rooms on Avenue des Jockeys available to us for our training sessions and home matches.

Good flight and long life to the "Gabians".

Message from Mr. JEANJEAN, Mayor of Palavas-les-Flots

 It is with pleasure that we welcome the brand new Australian football association “les Gabians de Palavas”. 


Australian Football or "Footy" is a collective sport whose objective is to "hit" the oval ball between the four posts located at the ends of the field. It brings together the rules of many sports (football, rugby and volleyball), but also the beautiful unifying sporting values that we love: sharing, conviviality, surpassing oneself, solidarity and respect.


Congratulations to Jacques Accambray (President), Maxime Collado (secretary), Jérémy Sardin (coach) and all the volunteers around them for their work and their involvement in the launch of this Palavas association.


The City of Palavas-les-Flots welcomes you with pleasure.
