The association was born in May 2022 under the impetus of Jacques ACCAMBRAY, then vice-president of AFL FRANCE.
The Gabians de Palavas have as their primary object the sporting practice of Australian football.
The association's second object is the development and promotion of Australian rules football at local and national level.
Finally, the club aims to set up a female section.
